Merry Christmas

This time of year is steeped in obligation, tradition and religion. It has also been commercialized and commoditized to extremes.
I hope everyone reading this is enjoying themselves for the holidays. We seem to forget to do that in the middle of buying presents, making ends meet and fulfilling whatever extra obligations we have taken on this time of year. Whether Christmas is a deeply religious time for you, a reason to reconnect with family or friends or just another excuse to party till the New Year… I wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Armand,
Blessing to you and your blog and your invisible support system (ie, family, significant others). I agree, this time of year DOES GET NUTS. I'm dealing with a loved one going in and out of the Kansas City hospital, 90 miles from home, hoping for her health....and someone asks me if I am ready for "Christmas?" Well, yes, and yes she is alive and recovering, and, oh, by the way, merry christmas. The babe in the manger thing is all nice and fine, but I can't make it through the day with out his ongoing keeping me sane, you know. It's real. Yeh, but the Christmas season is really too much noise any more. Best to you again.
