Cornwel is a true master of color, and I'm glad to see paintings of the holy land done so vividly and by such a great artist.
I didn't realize he had illustrated a couple of books on the subject. I'm glad for the reference.

He also illustrated The Robe and The Big Fisherman. Both books are worth checking out.
